Head of Marketing ANZ

PPG are currently seeking a leader in the marketing space to join our team and manage the ANZ marketing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire Architectural coatings portfolio including the Taubmans, Bristol and White Knight brands, and is accountable for driving business results through innovation, communication, media, e-commerce, activation and portfolio optimization. The Head of Marketing will lead a team across brand, digital, partnerships, and insights and will be responsible for developing and delivering the strategic marketing plan.
The ability to develop a cohesive team culture and build relationships, combined with strong commercial acumen, will be key to success in this role.
Requirements
- 13 + years strategic marketing experience in B2C environment
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent
- Previous experience in sales and marketing leadership role / senior management within the hardware /consumer packaged goods industry
- Proven ability to develop marketing strategy, which governs multiple streams of delivery
- Strong commercial acumen
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Executive level communication, presentation & planning skills
- Proven experience in leading high performing teams in dynamic environments
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the development, implementation, and optimisation of an integrated marketing program to deliver the organizations’ business goals across retail and trade
- Mentor, engage, motivate, and empower individuals and teams to deliver business performance and to be their best. Nurture the next generation of talent
- Working closely with internal stakeholders across technical, supply chain, legal, procurement & finance to ensure alignment & focus on objectives
- Leverage & nurture PPGs international network to gain insights and adopt best in class initiatives from around the globe
- Working closely with Head of Sales, ensuring that the marketing programs are aligned to sales strategies and initiatives are best in class
- As part of the leadership team, responsible for budget, forecast, volume, price, and profit management targets
- Own agency partnerships and retainers
- Manage the design, development, and deployment of an annual calendar of marketing initiatives including communication, packaging, POS, and other marketing materials
- Deliver all requirements of the role in accordance with PPG corporate values and set the standards and procedures to ensure compliance with Corporate EH&S and Ethics policies
