Your role will involve servicing and developing strong relationships with media agencies and clients, which is critical to surpassing revenue goals. You will also provide strategic and creative sales opportunities across the Foxtel Group's diverse range of assets, including partnerships with channels and productions.

This role requires establishing effective communication systems and strong relationships with both internal stakeholders, such as Broadcast Ad Operations, Partnerships, Channel Partners, and Finance, and external stakeholders, including media agency contacts and key direct client contacts like Marketing Managers.

Day to day you will:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients and agencies by providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high market presence, and managing multiple clients effectively.
  • Collaborate with sales, digital, and partnerships teams to drive revenue growth through cross-platform opportunities and by identifying up-selling and cross-selling potential with existing clients.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality client briefs and presentations that align with brand standards and are supported by accurate content and internal team coordination.
  • Support negotiation processes by understanding different negotiation styles, providing relevant data and insights, and effectively communicating with key stakeholders.
  • Assist in managing and developing team members, monitor performance against targets, and ensure compliance with market and regulatory guidelines, including maintaining accurate client transaction records.

Your background should include

  • 2-4 years of experience in a media sales team (agency, marketing, or sales preferred).
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to create compelling documentation for proposals and responses to briefs.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong leadership and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail, with the ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly.
  • Experience in generating media advertising briefs, effective time management, and a focus on personal and team development.
