Our Third Party Banking Team is our frontline division with a focus on delivering on our customers' needs by providing quality products and excellent service. We deliver these tailored outcomes & solutions through engagement with Brokers.

Do work that matters:

The State Manager will be a strong strategic thinker with proven demonstrated success in 3rd Party relationship management, and overall business growth. 

The incumbent in this role will be required to be collaborative in working with General Manager Third Party and other State Managers and as a leader within the Third Party, the State Manager is expected to maintain a highly visible market presence and work with their team to develop and maintain relationships with new and existing broker partners.

The State Manager will be delivery focused, take pride in understanding broker needs and delivering an exceptional level of broker partnering whilst being resilient, superior influencer, an effective change agent, an excellent coach and have a strong strategic perspective married with a pragmatic hands-on attitude.

More specifically, and amongst other things, you will:

Hold relationships with the leaders of the Broker Groups in their State while increasing our reputation and market share in the broker community Maintaining and enhancing the market profile of Bankwest in the broker community and raising local brand awareness. Building the Bank's market position in the State to be seen as the pre-eminent provider of banking products and services, and relationship management to the broker industry. Developing and maintaining strategic broker alliances and networks, developing strategies for both acquisition and retention of home loan book Accountable for leading and shaping the Broker channel distribution strategy within the State, implementation of channel strategies and managing the broker performance outcomes Coach, mentor and develop Broker Development Managers in their role Lead with vision and engage team on the journey towards that vision by motivating and developing the team, provide direction and drive change initiatives. Communication and implementation of organisational change strategies and policies, driving process and policy changes, including championing of process redesign initiatives. Provide market analysis and specialist support for use by Broker Development Managers
