About the Role
 
Our Client supplies world leading Construction Equipment Brands through sales and hire of their equipment, as well as having an extensive after-sales division for servicing and parts.  They are now seeking a self-motivated and mechanically minded Parts Consultant, who has superior customer service skills and takes pride in their work. 
  
This is a pivotal role in the business, responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy to increase market presence in the greater Sydney area. You will need to be a motivated Parts Salesperson that thrives on exceeding targets and exceeding customers expectations, through the building and maintaining of strong customer relationships. In addition, you will oversee and be responsible for inwards and outwards goods, cyclical stocktakes and maintenance of the warehouse areas.

Duties:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers, face to face, over the phone, via email and online.
  • Processing of sales orders, quotes, invoices, cash handling, EFTPOS and trade accounts.
  • Demonstrate strong product knowledge and provide advice to solve customer requests
  • Complete and coordinate all associated paperwork, record keeping and updating the internal CRM systems.
  • Generate new business leads and maximise opportunities with every customer interaction.
  • Identify and resolve customer concerns, with timely follow up on all client contact.
  • Manage financial transactions, ensuring proper logistics and cost effective freight solutions
  • Oversee inventory, stocktakes & inwards & outwards goods

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience & knowledge of Spare Parts, preferably within the heavy construction industry or similar
  • Proven sales ability with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed Company targets & KPI’s
  • Strong solution focused problem-solving attitude
  • Passion for building long term customer relationships
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Highly computer literate, including CRM’s & Microsoft Office applications
  • A genuine team player with a supportive and friendly personality
  • MUST have full Australian working rights
