**The Opportunity**

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Spare Parts - Inventory Controller to join our Spare Parts team based in Warwick Farm.

The primary purpose of the role is to manage all aspects of spare parts inventory.

Reporting to the National Spare Parts Manager, your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Replenish stock.
- Maintain, adequate quantities (Min/Max) of each stock item.
- Prepare orders to replenish stock and material and maintain records of orders placed.
- Process inbound shipments, including transfers, in SAP.

Data integrity
- Classify, review, and maintain inventory according to item value, criticality, and product grouping (ABC rules).
- Maintain unique identification numbers or assign new part numbers and storage location.
- Conduct physical cycle counts, review, and adjust inventory as required.
- Investigate order and receiving discrepancies.
- Prepare and Coordinate the bi-annual stocktakes.

Continuous improvement
- Re-positioning and/or kitting of Parts /Spares to improve picking and stock efficiencies.
- Process incoming requisitions and issue or distribute parts and supplies.
- Provide advice to customers, both internal and external, on stock and materials as required.

Reporting
- Generate and submit reports as per requirements.
- GSDB (Global Service Data Bank) Administration - maintain Daikin Australia Spare Parts Web with up to date information with regards to stock and price.
- Other administrative and ad-ad hoc duties as required.

**The person**:
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- At least 2 years’ experience within a similar role
- Good working knowledge of SAP R3 is preferred
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills - Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- A strong customer service orientation
- Strong attention to detail
