Your Role:

This role forms a critical part of Chubb Australia’s International Personal Lines (IPL) segment. You will be a ‘go-to’ person at Chubb, with responsibility for the development and execution of the IPL distribution strategies. You will be focussing on our residential Masterpiece product that targets High Net Worth individuals, insuring their home and valuables, through to prized collections and jewellery.

The Relationship Manager is responsible for generating new business and meeting production targets by, leveraging existing market relationships, developing alternative distribution networks, servicing an allocated portfolio of producers, utilising internal reports, and adhering to a visitation schedule across the Personal Lines product suite. 

Your Responsibilities:

• Achieve allocated Sales Targets and KPI’s for IPL 
• Manage distribution relationships through active communication
• Develop alternative distribution network to align to the IPL growth strategy
• Facilitate training sessions and presentations to brokers on underwriting appetite and understanding Chubb systems and platforms
• Act as an IPL product expert to assist in the development of product training and lead product training sessions
• Be a leader in the use of Microsoft Dynamics or other tools by logging visitations, managing and updating your pipeline and to provide detailed analysis and reporting to both internal and external stakeholders
• Manage internal stakeholder expectations in line with campaign or producer targeted direction
• Work closely with relationship managers as the point person for IPL to coordinate metrics and analytics to IPL leadership
• Be across and have an in-depth understanding of the Distribution Strategy, including strategies for Cluster Groups, Distribution segments and individual producers
• Support and oversee the relationship manager’s Key Account Plans for IPL

Essential:
• Strong business development manager / relationship manager skills, ideally with current or prior experience with banks, financial advisors, and alternative distribution networks
• Excellent planning, project management and communication skills
• Exercise initiative and act proactively to drive and manage a range of distribution initiatives
• A self-starter, capable of working in a team or independently
• Able to travel to metropolitan and regional areas for producer engagements, Professional Development days and conferences, as required

Desirable:
• Demonstrated experience across IPL and/or consumer products and services
