Amica Care Trust offers a range of friendly, welcoming and professional support services, including occasional day care, to assisted living providing the independence many of our resident's desire, through to specialist dementia care for those in most need of our support.

We are looking for an interim Management Accountant to join the finance team for a 6-month period, with the potential for the role to become permanent. 

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and maintain budgetary control. You will also oversee the payroll function and assist with developing and implementing improvement projects, within finance and throughout Amica Care.

This is a full time position 37.5 hours per week, with hybrid working (60% remote working).

Day to Day includes:

Prepare monthly management accounts, including commentary and reporting on performance against budget and other variances to assist business performance, growth and key decision making. Oversee the payroll function, review data from our Time & Attendance system and ensure employees are paid in line with Amica's polices and statutory requirements. Assist with overseeing the day to day running of the finance team, and deputising for the Finance Director when absent. Prepare monthly rolling forecasts, and cash flow forecasts, linked to the Trust's medium and longer term plans. Identify improvement areas for reporting, processes and templates; and work with the finance team and homes to develop and deliver improvements.

About you:

Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience. Experience of Project implementation and change management. A team player with excellent communication skills throughout the organisation, willing to get involved in all areas of the business and add extra value. Experience of Management accounts preparation, Budget and forecasting preparation and reporting. Ability to work and influence at all levels in the organisation.
