ABOUT THE ROLE:

JRM is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Executive Chef to lead the culinary operations at one of the Eastern Suburbs' most iconic venues. Known for its vibrant atmosphere, this high-volume venue requires a culinary leader who thrives under pressure and can deliver exceptional quality, day in and day out.

As a strong leader with proven experience managing multifaceted hospitality environments you will be working in a business with significant future growth planned, and the role offers exciting career progression, including the potential to become Director of Culinary across the group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all kitchen operations across multiple outlets within the venue.
  • Manage a large brigade, fostering teamwork and maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Oversee food, labour, and waste costs, maintaining strong financial control. Experience with Cooking the Books prefered.
  • Collaborate closely with senior management on future growth and development plans.
  • Play a key role in creative input and delivery as the venue undergoes expansion.
  • Ensure kitchen operations meet health and safety regulations and consistently deliver quality.
  • Maintain excellent supplier relationships and drive operational efficiency.

About you:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef in high-volume, fast-paced venues.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills to inspire and manage a large team.
  • Creativity and passion for delivering memorable dining experiences.
  • Expertise in food cost management and maximising kitchen efficiency.
  • Ability to excel under pressure and adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Full working rights within Australia are essential.
