Your why 

We're seeking a dynamic ITSM, ITOM & IT Vendor Specialist to support the enhancement of IT service delivery, financial and procurement strategy optimization, and operational risk management within the IT department. Reporting to the ITSM, Finance & Ops Risk Lead, this role is pivotal in maintaining the efficiency, security, and compliance of our IT services and operations, without direct managerial responsibilities.

How you will spend your time 

Contribute to defining and executing a comprehensive IT Service Management, IT Operations Management, and Vendor Management strategy that aligns with organizational objectives and digital transformation goals.

  • Financial Management: Support financial management tasks, including budget tracking, forecasting, and spend analysis to contribute to resource allocation and cost-efficiency.
  • Procurement Management: Support IT procurement process by assisting with vendor selection, contract negotiations, and vendor management, ensuring strategic alignment with IT needs.
  • Operational Risk Management: Develop, implement, and monitor IT operational risk policies and frameworks to identify, assess, mitigate, and report on risks.
  • Service Delivery Excellence: Ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services, meeting SLAs and enhancing user satisfaction across the organization.
  • Change and Release Management: manage the change management process, helping to implement IT changes efficiently and with minimal disruption.
  • Release Management Strategy: Contribute to defining and executing a Release Management strategy that aligns with agile development practices and supports continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for faster and more reliable software releases.
  • Compliance and Regulation: Ensure IT operations comply with relevant legal, regulatory, and policy requirements, particularly those related to the financial industry.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors and internal stakeholders to support strategic IT initiatives.
  • Technology Innovation and Adoption: Contribute to the adoption of innovative technologies and practices to improve IT service delivery, including cloud computing, automation, and agile methodologies.
  • Incident and Problem Management: Oversee an effective and robust incident and problem management process that rapidly addresses and resolves issues, minimizing impact on business operations 24x7x365. This includes conducting thorough root cause analyses, driving resolutions, and emphasizing continuous improvement to enhance overall system stability.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and analyses on IT service performance, financial status, risk posture, and procurement efficiency to senior management and relevant committees.
  • Business Continuity Planning: Develop and maintain IT business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure resilience and continuous operation in case of unforeseen events.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for IT service management, financial performance, and risk management to drive accountability and performance enhancement.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate IT strategies, changes, and impacts to all levels of the organization, ensuring transparency and alignment with business objectives.

  
What you will bring 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • Proven experience in IT service management, IT operations management, IT financial management, vendor management, and operational risk management, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
    • Good leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead teams towards achieving excellence.
    • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, and software development life cycles.
    • Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards in the financial industry.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Relevant certifications ITIL 4, COBIT or CISM
    • Adaptability to rapid change, with a knack for adjusting strategies in evolving business environments.
    • A customer-centric approach, prioritizing the delivery of value and satisfaction.
    • Analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, using insights to optimize operations.
    • An innovative mindset, open to adopting new technologies and methodologies
    • A collaborative spirit, able to work effectively in cross-functional teams towards shared goals.
