The Role

The GDS Service Designer role is focused on translating client requirements into actionable designs for the access to, the fulfillment of, and the support needed for users to consume the technical service being provided. This role involves a combination of agile and waterfall project delivery methods, requiring expert knowledge of service design and delivery, as well as good knowledge and experience of both ITSM and ITOM operating models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement service delivery models that meet client requirements
  • Develop and maintain expertise in service design and delivery methodologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Work with clients to understand their service needs and develop tailored solutions
