About the Role
As the Regional General Manager, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing Grace Removals' operations in NSW & ACT. You’ll be responsible for:
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Director - Moving Services to develop and implement vision and strategic plans for the region.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage the annual business plan and budget to meet financial targets.
- Performance Management: Develop and oversee performance metrics, workforce plans, and resource requirements.
- Team Leadership: Motivate and manage a large team, including recruitment and termination processes.
- Business Development: Direct regional sales efforts, achieve revenue targets, and support corporate development plans.
- Operational Excellence: Analyse operational performance, develop strategies for improvement, and ensure compliance with all standards.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to Occupational Health and Safety legislation, Customs, Biosecurity and employment laws.
- Risk Management: Prepare annual risk management profiles and implement necessary actions.
About You
We’re looking for candidates who have:
- Extensive experience in managing large multi-site teams and achieving business outcomes.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in managing P&L and business plans.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with a focus on integrity and employee engagement.
- A solid understanding of market dynamics and performance measurement.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and within a team environment.
