As a Retail Communications Specialist, you’ll be the critical link that keeps our HQ and retail teams aligned, engaged, and moving together. This role is your chance to create meaningful, on-brand communication strategies that drive connection and operational excellence across our Retail Division.
You will design and deliver impactful communication strategies and frameworks that bring our mission to life in stores. With creativity, precision, and a deep understanding of retail dynamics, you will ensure our field teams feel informed, empowered, and inspired.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build and refine a retail calendaring and initiative intake model that integrates deeply with our strategic planning processes.
- Develop on-brand communication assets such as videos, speaking notes, weekly updates, and intranet posts, ensuring maximum engagement and clarity.
- Create and optimize templates, train business partners in communication standards, and continuously evolve our store communication methods.
- Partner with Product, Brand Marketing, People & Culture, Finance, IT, and Retail Operations to align and hold teams accountable for milestones.
- Execute project plans, measure effectiveness, and drive engagement for key initiatives.
- Organise and maintain critical retail documents and resources on our intranet, ensuring easy access and alignment.
What You Bring
- A passion for storytelling with 3+ years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or similar roles (retail experience preferred).
- A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Change Management, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Expertise with tools like Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or InDesign to package content in visually engaging ways.
- Exceptional skills in multi-tasking, problem-solving, and managing cross-functional relationships in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative mindset—you communicate with honesty and kindness, balancing autonomy and teamwork seamlessly.
- A keen ability to adapt and thrive in ambiguity, consistently delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
