The Opportunity

As Team Leader Community Support Services at Hume City Council, you will be responsible leading the Community Support Services team, oversee the day-to-day operations, contribute to the planning and implementation of changes responding to our growing community and ongoing reforms. Your ability to liaise with a wide range of agencies, groups, and individuals will be critical to successfully providing quality of care with a person-centred approach.

You will be proactive and professional with a passion for excellence in care for older people and people with disabilities from diverse backgrounds and varying needs.

To be successful you will have:

Demonstrated ability to supervise,train and support staff. Ability to lead, implement and respond to change within a team. Strong knowledge of the Home and Community Care Program for Younger People (HACC-PYP) and Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP).
