As a Qantas Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) , you will be responsible for performing Aircraft Maintenance and rectification as per manufacturers’ and company specification to a high standard. You will be working with a range of specialist teams enabling you to provide excellent engineering standards on a solid foundation of safety, quality, reliability and service.

You’ll have –

Completed Certificate IV Aeroskills qualification (Mechanical or Avionics)

Previous experience in a Line Maintenance environment (desirable)

Relevant Aircraft Maintenance (Mechanical, Structures or Avionics) trade experience on B737-800 and/or A330

Experience working on B787 and A380 will be desirable

Completed all documentation and reporting requirements to a high standard

Taken ownership and driven outcomes to meet business requirements

Demonstrated ability to work safety and adhering to all safety and compliance procedures

Thorough knowledge and understanding Aircraft Maintenance procedures

Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team

Commitment to being customer focused with the flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required

Highly developed attention to detail

Australian Drivers licence

Successfully pass a Pre-Employment Medical
