The Opportunity

We’re bringing the best of Suntory to Oceania and building a best-in-class Sales team for our brand new Australian licensed function which will go-live in July 2025

This role of Field Sales Manager, Sydney Metro offers something unique and career defining. Joining in our build phase, you will build your team from the ground up and play a key role in establishing work processes that best serve your team to achieve sales targets, grow & promote our product range, whilst exploring new business opportunities 

Key responsibilities will include:-

  • Lead, mentor, motivate and develop a team of Territory Managers to achieve and exceed their monthly & annual financial objectives (generally a team of 7-10 TM’s)
  • Lead the team to execute against Suntory’s Category, Channel and Customer strategies
  • Lead the team to deliver against their Customer Contact matrix and drive value to their called-on universe of On Premise and Off Premise customers
  • Support the team in growing new business in the on premise
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand distribution, visibility and share of brands to increase revenue
  • Lead the team to flawlessly execute key innovation and NPD initiatives in trade
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry associations
  • Coach and provide timely feedback to team members on individual and team development objectives as well as career role progression
  • Champion Safety and ensure everyone gets home safe everyday
  • Champion and bring to life by example Suntory’s leadership spirits and behaviours.

What's in your toolkit

With a strong track record of success in a similar, leadership role, you will have exceptional coaching skills and experience in leading and inspiring your team to deliver strong results.  You will have a proven ability to manage targets, build new accounts with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.  With a strong analytical capability to help you navigate sales data into actionable insights.  Experience within the Liquor industry is highly advantageous.
