As the Change & Communications Manager, Port Operations Centres, you will be responsible for managing change and communications associated with the roll out of new technology and ways of working to establish Port Operations Centres nationally across Qantas major airports – Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne & Perth.

The role requires end-to-end change management in a senior delivery capacity as well as being responsible for developing and delivering communications to a fast-paced operations environment. In addition, this role forms part of the project leadership team and will establish strong working relationships with On-Airport, Airport Services, HR, IR, Corporate Comms, Port Operations and Duty Management teams.

You’ll have –

Extensive experience in employee and stakeholder communications within change management roles.

Experience in designing and delivering fit-for-purpose training solutions. 

Previous experience in Aviation projects would be highly regarded

Broad understanding and knowledge of the Aviation or Airlines industry

Ability to understand and translate strategic business issues into effective communications within a large,operationallycomplex organisation

Knowledge of the Industrial Relations framework, its application to the business unit and issues.

Ability to influence and build relationships with key stakeholders at senior management and all levels of the organisation

Strong verbal and written communication skills, will the ability to present complex information tailored to a variety of audiences. 

Strong research skills with the ability to articulate this informationas it applies to people and change. 

Understanding of human centred design, design thinking and behavioural science application to bring about change. 

Degree qualifications in Change Management, Communications, Project Management, Business or Communication highly regarded
