What’s on offer?

We are seeking to appoint an experienced professional to join the Group Risk and Assurance (GRA) team as a Group Investigations Manager in our head office in Richmond. This position is primarily concerned with conducting investigations and internal reviews.

The role involves dealing with stakeholders across all of Fulton Hogan, accordingly the position will suit an individual who enjoys stakeholder management, communicating and partnering with teams across the business. The ability to balance multiple investigations and reviews concurrently will be important. You will also:

  • Conduct investigations in response to whistleblower disclosures that allege wrongdoing by Fulton Hogan personnel.
  • Be responsible for executing investigation procedures such as developing the investigation approach, interviewing relevant parties, drafting witness statements and relevant correspondence, producing sound reports that summarise the investigation performed, outcomes and recommendations, etc.
  • Conduct internal reviews assessing compliance with policies, laws, or regulations, and recommend appropriate corrective actions and remedial measures.
  • Lead or assist with other reviews commissioned by the General Manager GRA.
  • Build relationships with the business and subject matter experts throughout the company to ensure accurate and timely investigation processes.
  • Foster a culture within the organisation that will allow GRA to continue as a trusted advisor that supports the business in achieving and delivering on its strategic priorities.

What will you bring to the role?

  • You hold a bachelor's and/or master's degree in accounting, finance, human resources, law, criminology, compliance, computer science, or a related field.
  • You will have a minimum of ten years of experience in investigations, forensic accounting, law enforcement, or a related field where you utilised and developed interviewing and investigative techniques.
  • You will have at least one relevant professional certification, such as the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Professional Certified Investigator (PCI), Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certificate 4 or Diploma in Government Investigations, etc.
  • You must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills in English with solid interpersonal and presentation skills.
