Are you a driven Sales Manager with a passion for Technical Sales and business development? Join our dynamic team at Trelleborg Marine Systems, where you will take the lead in driving sales growth for the Line Mooring Systems (LMS) and Automated Mooring Systems (AMS) product lines within a designated region.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies, cultivating strong relationships with consultants and customers making office-based technical procurement decisions as well as getting onsite with operations and asset managers to help with equipment upgrade assessments. Your role will be key in positioning our products in the market and identifying opportunities for growth, all while working closely with the Regional Sales Manager APAC.

Key Responsibilities

 Strategic Sales & Marketing:

  • Develop a targeted sales plan based on regional market segments.
  • Identify gaps in marketing assets to support growth strategies.
  • Research and develop relationships with prospective customers for future sales.

 Tactical Sales Execution:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries.
  • Manage bids from inquiry to award, ensuring project specs and compliance.
  • Maximize margins, secure repeat business, and provide customer feedback to the team.
  • Assist Aftersales team to manage client expectations on resource deployment & technical support.

Business Development:

  • Maintain and strengthen existing customer relationships.
  • Coordinate and participate in regional exhibitions and events.
  • Plan and manage customer visits to ensure optimal relationship management.

What we are looking for:

  • 7+ years experience in technical sales or business development role ideally working within a similar industry or with similar products.
  • Preferably tertiary education within engineering or marine disciplines. Minimum Bachelor of Engineering or Science degree. A master’s degree will be an advantage but not necessary.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • English fluency mandatory, additional languages desired but not essential
  • Experience using Microsoft 365 software suite, Dynamics 365 and, Power BI.
