What does the job look like?

As the Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for end-to-end accounts payable functions including processing invoices with accuracy whilst meeting KPI’s and management of the AP Enquiries mailbox. Your tasks will also include, processing payments and payment clearings, reconciliation of statements, becoming a SME in the (Procure to Pay) P2P platform and reconciling general ledger data in Blackline. Key areas:

Execution, follow up, investigation and recording of information in line with Linfox policy and process.Reconcile vendor statements and payment clearing accounts.Respond to enquiries from both internal and external customers.High volume invoice processing.Educate internal stakeholders on the P2P platform and manual process.Apply knowledge of the ATO Tax invoice rules and of purchase orders from requisition to payment.Identify process improvements and work collaboratively within a team.Cross train to provide appropriate leave cover across the AP and Expense teams.

Proven experience in an account payable, expense management or finance environment in a large dynamic organisationExperience and clear understanding of GST implicationsReconciliation experienceHigh attention to detail and problem-solving skillsHave worked with a large ERP (SAP preferred)
