What does the job look like?

As the Expense Officer, you will be responsible for end-to-end processing of expense management, month end clearings, invoice upload files, purchase order maintenance, and reconciliation of the balance sheet accounts.

This role also includes the administration of the expense management system and corporate card program and working with internal stakeholders and external vendors to meet Linfox audit and company policies. The role services requirements within Linfox Logistics, Armaguard and Bevchain within Australia.

Key areas:

- Account reconciliations to be completed from multiple data sources (i.e., Balance sheets, Fuel Tanks, Card Readers).
- Manage the end-to-end Linfox corporate card program including the administration and audit program.
- Identify and investigate issues. Partner with internal stakeholders (employees, security team, sites) and
- external stakeholder (AMEX, ANZ, Government bodies).
- Develop and execute regular reporting across all streams in the Business Units.
- Complete month end activities including clearing journals, blackline reconciliations, and accruals.
- Identify and manage process improvements. Including the end-to-end testing and training of process.

Are you the one?

You are early in your career with great stakeholder engagement skills, a high attention to detail and can effectively gather information, analyse problems, make sound judgments, and can develop appropriate solutions. You can demonstrate:

- Proven experience in an account payable, expense management or finance environment in a large dynamic organisation is advantageous.
- Reconciliation skills and journal entry experience (preferred)
- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills
- Experience using ERP (SAP advantageous)
- Qualifications/Skills/Experience in Continuous Improvement (desirable)
