Universal Music Australia is currently on the lookout for an experienced Sync & Licensing Manager to join our USYNC Licensing team. This role will be for a 12-month parental leave contract. If you’re someone who loves to work end to end from delivery to execution on platform, then apply now

About the role:

In conjunction with the Senior Director of Sync and Licensing, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing quotations and negotiating commercial terms as directed by the Senior Director

  • Identifying opportunities for placement of music to support marketing campaigns

  • End to end servicing including pro-active pitching, negotiations, and licensing

  • Creatively pitch repertoire to Australian client base

  • Collaborate seek opportunities for domestic roster at a global level

  • Maintain and develop relationships with new and existing clients

  • Coordinate listening sessions with key clients, in conjunction with Senior Director

  • Curation of USYNC playlists for all sectors

  • Seek out bespoke opportunities for UMG artists, with a domestic lens

  • Develop artist strategies and sync opportunities

  • Investigating promo and marketing opportunities

  • Managing communications for USYNC team, including, external, and international

  • Maintaining CRM (Salesforce)

  • Managing pre-release schedule, new music meetings and curation of DISCO playlists

  • Proactively seek out new business opportunities for UMG artists

Job Requirements
