We are urgently seeking an Administration Officer for a 3-month temporary position, starting 4 November 2024 until 7 February 2025, with the potential for an additional 3-month extension based on workload. Join a dynamic team where your contributions will have a meaningful impact.

About the role:

This role will provide critical administrative support to ensure efficient regulatory and compliance operations within the department.

Deadline: 8 AM - Friday 25 October 2024

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform data entry into the Mining Register database and regulatory templates
  • Conduct initial checks on information submitted by regulated entities
  • Draft and manage regulatory reminder and overdue notice emails
  • Arrange and schedule online meetings with external clients
  • Upload electronic documents into the department's records management system
  • Conduct data checking and audits to ensure accuracy

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Proven experience in data entry, document preparation, and records management
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in managing emails and organising meetings
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Experience with regulatory or compliance environments (desirable but not essential)
  • National Police Check clearance (mandatory)
