We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Facilities Manager to join our team and oversee our facilities’ efficient operation and maintenance.
We are looking for a highly skilled Facilities Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of our facilities, ensuring they are safe, efficient, and well-maintained. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing facility resources, maintenance schedules, safety compliance, and optimizing the use of company assets.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of all WA Universal Rigging and Cranes facilities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for equipment, buildings, and grounds to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
- Supervise maintenance staff and external contractors, coordinating repair and maintenance activities.
- Monitor and manage budgets related to facility maintenance, repairs, utilities, and operational expenses.
- Conduct regular facility inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
- Oversee the procurement and management of supplies, tools, and equipment needed for facility upkeep.
- Coordinate and manage facility-related projects, including renovations, expansions, or relocations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including fire safety, evacuation procedures, and disaster recovery.
- Establish and manage effective security protocols to protect assets and personnel.
- Review and negotiate contracts with vendors, service providers, and contractors.
- Collaborate with senior management to align facility strategies with company objectives and growth plans.
- Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, engineering, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in facilities management or a similar role within the construction, rigging, or heavy machinery industry.
- Proven experience in managing large facilities, maintenance teams, and projects.
- Strong knowledge of safety, compliance, and environmental regulations.
- Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in facilities management software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $90K to 100K plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
