Job Description:

A leading provider of rigging, crane hire, and lifting solutions in Western Australia seeks an experienced Operational Manager to oversee the efficient operation and maintenance of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for equipment, buildings, and grounds.
  • Supervise maintenance staff and external contractors, coordinating repair and maintenance activities.
  • Monitor and manage budgets related to facility maintenance, repairs, utilities, and operational expenses.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
  • Oversee the procurement and management of supplies, tools, and equipment needed for facility upkeep.
  • Coordinate and manage facility-related projects, including renovations, expansions, or relocations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.

Requirements & Qualifications:

An ideal candidate will possess:
  • Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in facilities management or a similar role within the construction, rigging, or heavy machinery industry.
  • Proven experience in managing large facilities, maintenance teams, and projects.
  • Strong knowledge of safety, compliance, and environmental regulations.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in facilities management software and MS Office Suite.

Salary and Benefits:
The remuneration package for this position includes a salary range of $90K-$100K per annum, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
