About the Opportunity 
We have an exciting opportunity to join ALM as a General Manager Marketing. Digital & Loyalty. This role will lead the marketing team & inspire all stakeholders, to create & deliver growth building the IBA portfolio of retail brands and support successful independents. Our Retail Brands include: Cellarbrations, The Bottle-O, IGA Liquor, Thirsty Camel, Porters Liquor, Duncans, Liquor @, Big Bargain. The role will focus on ensuring our teams and retail network have best in class retail tools, both instore and online. There are exciting opportunities to generate new revenue streams via Digital (E-Comm, Retail Media) and Loyalty via a digital ‘centre of excellence’, encompassing the tools, support framework and processes to empower retailers to trade via IBA’s e-commerce & loyalty platforms. 

These digital platforms will compliment IBA’s overarching customer marketing strategies aimed at attracting and retaining customer engagement and driving sales growth across our retail network. We also have a dynamic and creative in house Studio team – this role really allows you to make an impact


In this Role 
• Lead, design & deliver the brand strategy, programs and processes in line with the Metcash vision & IBA strategy
• Develop a marketing communications strategy & plan that shifts consumer perception and grows market share, including a focus on Local’s servicing Local’s
• Design, implement and facilitate annual marketing initiatives, calendars & events for the business.
• Continue the development of the IBA brand purpose by banner, creating brand distinctive communications activity, tools & assets that can be scaled across the network & a suite of materials that provide clarity for ALL IBA brands
• Build IBA brands and our Return on Marketing investment through owned, paid and earnt channels 
• Deliver marketing activity that grows retail sales, traffic & builds shopper satisfaction ratings of IBA banners
• Deliver shopper & market insights to the business and retailers, on-going campaign analysis that drives continuous improvement. 
• Build a shopper-led culture across the business to accelerate effective change Marketing Services 
• Deliver marketing services that aggregate the brand activity (National, State & store)
• Lead, coach and mentor a broad cross functional team to grow group capability 
• Build a can-do culture which is aligned to the Purpose, Passion and Partnerships ALM forms 
• Partner suppliers across all liquor categories and play an active role externally in our industry
• Play an active and shaping role on the Liquor Leadership team – connect and engage your cross functional colleagues to ensure we are greater than the sum of our parts.

You’re Likely a Match If 
• At least 12 years’ experience of marketing, ideally with retail and FMCG background.
• Strong knowledge of the digital marketing and trading world
• Knowledge of Loyalty program and experience in executing in market
• Strong leadership and strategic marketing experience with a proven track record in developing and implementing successful marketing programs
• Strong financial acumen and business acumen to understand and manage business levers and impacts
• Innovative thinking, balanced with pragmatic execution
• Significant experience facilitating outcomes across a range of stakeholder groups
• Experience managing significant change, transformation or business turnaround
• Strategic thinking and change leadership
• Expertise in drawing insights from data to inform and conduct business management, strategic planning, and problem-solving
• Influencing skills and ability to rapidly establish rapport with internal stakeholders to drive execution
