This large private property development group has a strong multi-billion dollar pipeline of projects in place and is well set for future growth. As part of this they are looking for a new Project Accountant to come on board who is ready to make that next step up to more senior roles in the near future. 

Reporting to the Senior Project Accountant key duties will include:

  • Monthly project reporting
  • Insightful analysis of financial performance, cash flow, and job costing / project cost reporting
  • Review of project invoices to ensure accuracy 
  • Management of workflow approvals
  • Processing project cost journals
  • Oversight of project administration work and documentation
  • Approving transactions on schedule and ensuring payment
  • Undertake regular project audits

You will be studying your CA/CPA or qualified with 2-4 years experience, ideally from another construction/development business with exposure to project accounting or making your first move from a chartered firm. Excellent communication skills, strong time management with the ability to handle multiple projects at once, a positive approach and high attention to detail are all key.
