Job Description:

As the National Specialty Retail Field Leader you will be playing a crucial role in driving the successful performance and pet parent obsession of the Field Sales Representatives within Pet Nutrition in our Specialty Channel.

You will be a passionate, disciplined and engaging leader who thrives on developing high performing teams in a dynamic and ever-evolving channel. In this role you will continuously strengthen the talents of the team through selection, coaching and development and strive to build an inclusive and high performing team tasked with achieving set sales targets and KPI's via the annual Operating Plan.

What are we looking for?

  • Demonstrated experience in evidence-based technical selling to ensure performance

  • Extensive people leadership, leading individuals of varying skill/experience with different learning styles to achieve the best outcomes

  • Ability to utilise technical manual and resources to develop capability

  • Strong planning and prioritisation skills

  • Proven ability to build exceptional customer relationships with various stakeholders

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Coach and develop evidence-based product knowledge and expertise

  • Deliver education including training pet care professionals at events on the correct recommendation of products, hosting workshops and offering product demonstrations

  • Lead, coach, develop and inspire a team of 9 dedicated Field Sales Reps. to drive performance, unlock their potential and maximise engagement

  • Develop & implement long-term growth strategies

  • Contribute to the total financial performance of the Specialty Channel by delivering against agreed total channel volume and NSV targets

  • Lead the routine evaluation of territory plans against agreed deliverables and marketplace context and execute changes effectively

  • Facilitate monthly Field Activity Meetings

  • Collaborate on the strategic priorities of internal stakeholders and teams to ensure total business alignment and success
