Home Technical Claims Lead - Salary of Circa £75,000

A bit about the job:

This role is responsible for leading a team of Home claims handlers and major loss field teams with ownership of the management and performance of large Home claims through effective implementation and oversight of our claim’s philosophy, standards, and best practice. This role will be critical in making sure we deliver market leading indemnity performance and excellent customer outcomes and is an exciting opportunity to be in the forefront of change and senior stakeholder exposure

Aviva operates a “smart working” policy meaning that we spend approximately half of our time working in an office. This role can be based in any office but will require regular travel to Perth.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, planning, multi-tasking, prioritizing responsibilities and delivering within agreed time limits.

Excellent communication skills in order to act as a credible representative for Home claims and wider Aviva claims system.

Experience of dealing at a senior leadership level with the ability to communicate insight, learnings, and recommendations effectively.

Proven ability in people leadership including coaching and mentoring.

Ability to think long term strategically and operationally to build a sustainable claims function.


What you’ll get for this role:

Salary circa £75,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)

Bonus opportunity - 12% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
