Claims Leadership and Strategy Director

This is a critical leadership role at Aviva, where you will oversee the management and performance of large Home claims. You will be responsible for implementing effective claim's philosophy, standards, and best practice, ensuring market-leading indemnity performance and excellent customer outcomes.
About the JobThis position requires a strong leader who can drive a high-performance culture through exemplary coaching and mentoring. You will lead a team of Home claims handlers and major loss field teams, with ownership of the management and performance of large Home claims.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and oversee the effective implementation of our claim's philosophy, standards, and best practice.
- Liaise with senior stakeholders to ensure delivery of market-leading indemnity performance and excellent customer outcomes.
- Drive a high-performance culture through coaching and mentoring.
- Oversee the management and performance of large Home claims.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, planning, multi-tasking, prioritizing responsibilities, and delivering within agreed time limits.
- Excellent communication skills to act as a credible representative for Home claims and wider Aviva claims system.
- Experience of dealing at a senior leadership level with the ability to communicate insight, learnings, and recommendations effectively.
- Proven ability in people leadership, including coaching and mentoring.
- Ability to think long term strategically and operationally to build a sustainable claims function.
As a Claims Leadership and Strategy Director at Aviva, you can expect:
- A competitive salary of £75,000 per annum.
