About the Role: 

  • Business Development: Strategise and implement plans to expand our customer base and increase revenue. Focus on maintaining and growing existing relationships (60%) and acquiring new business (40%) 
  • Customer Engagement: Regularly connect with major customers, conduct product demos, attend trade shows, and manage relationships with key retailers and independent tile stores 
  • Area Covered: Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and NZ. Approx 1 week of interstate travel every 6 weeks, with a biannual visit to NZ 
  • Product Focus: Promote high-end brands such as iQ Power Tools, RUBI Tools, and IMER group 
  • Market Insight: Stay updated on industry trends and new product releases to drive business growth and strategy 
  • Package: Base Salary + Super, Hyundai iLoad, Phone + Laptop. Profit Share Bonuses paid annually 

  
About You: 

  • Experience: Proven track record as a Business Development Manager or similar role 
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience with tool retailers or high-end tool brands such as Milwaukee, Husqvarna, Bosch, or diamond tools is highly desirable. Familiarity with the tiling and masonry tool industries is a plus but not essential 
  • Customer Focused: Skilled at maintaining and growing key customer relationships, with a knack for effective product demonstrations 
  • Autonomous: Capable of independently managing and growing your customer base with minimal supervision, leveraging your initiative and self-direction 
  • Adaptable: Open to learning about new products and technologies, with the flexibility to adapt strategies to evolving market needs  
  • Travel Ready: Willing to travel across Australia and New Zealand to engage with clients and attend trade events. Drivers license essential
