What you can expect in a day in this role:

Our security officers are the integral component of Country Club’s brand attribute of ‘safety and security’. This role requires an engagement with our customers that goes beyond the traditional security officer role. The key to success is the confidence and ability to converse with guests whilst ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for Country Club customers and staff.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Patrolling the premises and interacting with guests
  • Acts as a first responder for incidents reported/happening
  • Ensuring internal and external policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Collaboration with Emergency Services when required
  • Complete written incident reports

What you will bring to the role:

  • Passion for people with their safety and welfare being top of mind
  • Friendly and approachable personality
  • Relevant experience in security and crowd control
  • Current Security Guard and Crowd Control license
  • Proven conflict negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to use basic computer programs and functions
  • Ability to obtain a Tasmanian Security Gaming Licence, Responsible Service of Alcohol(RSA), and Responsible Conduct of Gaming (RCG)
  • Flexible availability to cover a range of shifts across a 24 hour/7 day roster
  • Unrestricted vehicle driver's license
