Aviation Protection Officer

ISS is a leading provider of workplace experience and facility management solutions. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Aviation Protection Officer to join our team at Launceston Airport.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality security services to ensure the safety and security of passengers, staff, and assets.
- Conduct security checks, screening, and surveillance to detect and prevent potential security threats.
- Work closely with the Security Manager and Terminal Operations team to ensure seamless security operations.
- Collaborate with other security personnel to share information and best practices.
- Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders, including passengers, staff, and visitors.
- Ability to obtain an ASIC security clearance.
- Successful completion of drug and alcohol screening and medical assessments.
- Hold a Certificate II in Transport Security Protection or be willing to obtain one.
- True 24/7 availability, including shift work and weekends on a rotating roster.
- Reliable transportation.
- Highly developed security awareness and focus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and computer literacy skills.
