Your new opportunity

An exciting and dynamic opportunity where you will lead cross-functional teams to deliver cyber security transformation initiatives. You will work closely with teams across the RAA and with external partners to ensure the seamless execution of cyber projects within a 2-year maximum term assignment. In addition, you will:

  • Motivate your team to achieve program objectives.
  • Manage a complex portfolio of interdependent cyber security initiatives through their entire lifecycle from eliciting and/or validating requirements through to implementation and operationalization.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate program delivery risks.
  • Manage and report on the cyber transformation program’s scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Establish and manage program governance and reporting including preparing papers and presenting to the Steering Committee or Board as required.
  • Manage vendors and contracts to ensure anticipated outcomes are successfully delivered.

For this role, we’re also looking for:

  • Demonstrated experience managing large complex programs ideally relating to a significant uplift in information security or governance and compliance.
  • Program management experience in a regulated industry like banking or insurance (desirable).
  • Experience in a leadership position.
  • Anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to negotiate and influence effectively across multiple stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Manoeuvre comfortably through complex policy, process, and people-related organisational dynamics.
  • Ability to problem solve and optimise processes.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Pragmatic approach to program governance right-sizing to the RAA.
