About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Property Project Manager to lead our ambitious Future Workplace Program. This high-profile project will shape the future of our workplace, including two major new builds, and is set to transform the way we work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Oversee the successful delivery of key property initiatives and play a crucial part in the construction and delivery of new physical workplaces.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensure consistent engagement, communication, and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Task Management: Own the detailed task management of the project, pulling together key documentation, tracking progress, and ensuring all project reports on timelines, risks, issues, and budgets are delivered.
  • WHS Compliance: Ensure all WHS requirements related to property and facilities are compliant with relevant legislation.
  • Transition Management: Assist in the decanting of people and infrastructure, ensuring seamless transitions by mapping out and allocating tasks.
  • Communication: Keep all staff and stakeholders informed by providing regular updates on timing, milestones, and any changes that may affect the transition.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of two direct reports: a Project & Property Coordinator and a Change Manager, providing clear direction, setting targets, and ensuring alignment with project goals.
Requirements
  • Experience: Extensive experience in project management, ideally within property, construction, or facilities management.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of construction timelines and processes, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Qualifications: Proven experience in stakeholder management and the ability to keep various parties aligned with the project's objectives.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage reporting, document control, and task allocation across a complex project.
  • Communication Skills: Experience in communicating with staff and ensuring smooth transitions during workplace changes.
  • WHS Knowledge: Understanding of WHS regulations and property-related compliance.
