As the Procurement Analyst in our IT & Security team, you will play a pivotal role in optimising our procurement processes, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing and consolidation of our tooling. 

You will ensure that goods and services are acquired at the best possible prices and within established timelines and assists with the day to day administration. 

As part of your role you’ll conduct data analysis to identify procurement trends, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements, which you’ll then present back to the business. Therefore, you will have an analytical approach to problem solving.

You will work closely with various vendors and stakeholders from across the business, at various levels, while being supported by the Procurement Manager and Head of IT.

  • Understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a procurement officer or related position
  • Solid experience with the Google Suite (sheets is a must)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills - you’ll have to coordinate with all levels of Finance, P&C, global subsidiaries
  • Proven structured problem solving and/or various mental models
  • Ability to negotiate, establish, and administer contracts
  • An aptitude for identifying and managing risks. Whether you are a People Manager or an Individual Contributor, we are all leaders at Zip, therefore effective risk management is important to how we run our business and part of all our roles.
