About the Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity to join Metcash as a Data Insights & Reporting Analyst working under the supervision of the Data Insights & Reporting Lead to support the various business departments across the Food pillar to deliver insights that are data-driven and support the business with strategic decisions by applying strong reporting and dashboard development skills with Power BI,

In this Role

Engage with senior stakeholders across the business to qualify, prioritise and deliver request for reports, dashboards and insights that support strategic operations. Design, develop and optimize an dashboards and reports (Power Query, DAX and Power BI Service). Custom data extraction from Microsoft Azure, analyze internal data sources and ensure data integrity. Leveraging strong technical skills in programming languages to develop and automate comprehensive data sets ready for analytical output. Utilise strong reporting and dashboard development skills with Power BI to develop and automate engaging and visually appealing insights.

You’re Likely a Match If

Experience in stakeholder engagement with ability to cultivate, grow and maintain relationships across multiple stakeholders. Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience and ability to be accountable for the data produced, coupled with strong data modelling and commercial acumen. Experience in UI visual design, design principles and data storytelling. Experience working with large data sets and complex data models. Proficient ability to extract data from various database technologies e.g. Azure & AWS Redshift etc.
