About the Opportunity

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Insights Analyst located at Macquarie Park.  The Business Insights Analyst supports the execution of customer facing activity, conduit between function SME and BI to ensure the end-to-end data, reporting and analytics needs of the function are aligned to Food strategic priority.

In this Role

  • Perform analysis in a timely manner to influence business decision-making with fact-based insights,
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand key challenges and agree on solutions using functional data to build reports, analytics, and insights.
  • Foster effective communication between stakeholders and Business Insights teams, ensuring a clear understanding of requirements, project timelines, and deliverables.
  • Assist in working with BI, Data Science, or Reporting teams to design reports that not only meet requirements but also align with Metcash standards, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
  • Support in training business users on new dashboards and tools,

You’re Likely a Match If

  • +5 years of experience within a related role leveraging data to generate insights that solve business problems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Analytics or similarly related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience working with diverse datasets
  • Proficiency in data interpretation and presenting insights to non-technical audiences
  • Technical proficiency with Data Visualisations tools, specifically Power BI
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
