Reporting to the manager on shift we are currently seeking a passionate Event Host. The overall purpose of the role is to deliver exceptional and memorable service to our clients. You would be working in an enthusiastic team environment, ensuring all aspects of our guest experience exceeds expectations, specifically the events side. Meeting and greeting with a welcoming smile and building rapport with our amazing members while delivering efficient and friendly service throughout the business. Demonstrating initiative and willingness to learn and grow in your role.

This role can be extremely rewarding for the right person wanting to further develop their events career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate with all patrons and staff
  • Liaise with internal and external key stakeholders to ensure all the requirements of the function
  • are met including but not limited catering, set up and wait service
  • Be able to solve multiple problems at once that may arise in an event
  • Provide feedback on all events and make recommendations on improving the function operations
  • Ensure accurate processing of cash and credit card transactions

Ideal candidate:

  • A passion for people and providing memorable guest experiences
  • A current valid RSA & RCG
  • Intermediate hospitality skills such as 3 plate carry & drink tray service
  • Advanced communication skills
  • Impeccable presentation, hygiene and grooming standards
  • A willingness to undergo further training and development
  • Flexible availability over a 7 day rotating roster
