The Role - Delivering the Vision

This hybrid role (WFH/Office) can be based in Melbourne or Sydney.

Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement, this position will be responsible for motivating and inspiring the Category Management team. With a honed commercial lens and focus, this is a high profile appointment that combines people leadership and strategic sourcing across $730m of spend, as well as complex stakeholder engagement whilst working collaboratively with Risk and ESG procurement teams. In addition to the interesting and diverse stakeholders this role partners with, you will work on key strategic projects to deliver cost savings, drive efficiency and investment initiatives whilst considering business plans for operational methodologies and future state best practices as part of continuous improvement commercial remit.

In short, this is a broad, varied and exciting leadership role that prioritises people and process as part of a dynamic, forward thinking category management team.

Is this You ?

You will be a commercially minded, pro-active and engaging Procurement Manager with a track-record of kicking goals and delivering quantifiable success. You will be adept at motivating, coaching and developing your team of category managers and procurement specialists by sharing your expert knowledge of procurement flow-process fundamentals, from source to contract including tender evaluation and supplier review. You will be comfortable working within a growth mindset organisation that has a pioneering and insightful approach to innovation and procurement excellence.
