Our client is looking for a candidate with an entrepreneurial mindset, value-savvy shrewdness, innovation, creativity and exceptional expertise in ingredient procurement. This is an end-to-end role across the full value chain, sourcing quality ingredients at competitive price points.

Responsibilities:

· Category Management planning

· Unlock value across the supply chain

· Drive innovation and transform cost structure

· Conduct market assessment, local and international, current and future state

· Define 'go to market' strategy

· Drive the procurement sustainability program and operational effectiveness

· Ongoing performance and benefit tracking

· Analyses of historical spend behaviour and all related data inputs

Experience / Qualifications:

· Significant experience in the procurement of a wide range of ingredients in the food industry with a diverse supplier base

· Thorough understanding of trading and commodities pricing

· Operate with speed and alacrity

· Excellent commercial and financial acumen

· Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (Procurement, Business, Agricultural)

· Ingredients category management and strategic sourcing

· Strong internal and external stakeholder management

· Strong knowledge end-to-end supply chain drivers
