Your Opportunity Awaits

Reporting to the DES Operations manager some of your core responsibilities will be:

  • Lead, coach, and motivate the Quality Assurance team, delivering quality assurance and claims services within Castle.
  • Responsibility for claims compliance to DSS Contract, including implementation and reporting.
  • Draft QMS reporting documentation, consolidating relevant data.
  • Uses substantial professional knowledge of relevant legislation, Castle contract and departmental guidelines to review and suggest changes to Castle policies.
  • Plan and develop effective responses to DSS communications, events, and incidents for approval, stepping in as lead when required.
  • Support the implementation of technology and ongoing operations for the Quality Assurance team.
  • Monitor Castle performance against DSS contract requirements, addressing problems and escalating as required.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of the National Disability Service Standards, Disability Employment Services Grant Agreement (effective 1 July 2018) and related Departmental Guidelines
  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Science, Community Services, Human Services, or Business with over 5 years of relevant experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in a team leadership role managing human services.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement, and manage report and data analysis on financials and other performance data
  • Demonstrated ability to use specialised business systems, including government data systems and client relationship management systems
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information, train and influence diverse audiences

Essential Criteria

  • Current unrestricted driver licence or access to transport
  • Willingness to obtain a NDIS Worker Check and Working with Children Check
  • Willingness to demonstrate Castle’s Vision, Purpose and Value statements and the ability to engage others and influence organisational culture
