**Job Summary**

At GFG-Alliance, we are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in Newcastle. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a range of machinery, including multi-axis lathes and machining centers.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Execute CNC machining operations, including programming and operating machinery
  • Build and maintain knowledge of machining special steels
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Provide feedback and support to the maintenance management team
  • Learn and apply safety management principles

**Requirements**

  • Relevant mechanical trade qualification or currently completing an apprenticeship
  • Ability to read and understand G-Code
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, or Fagor Controls (highly desirable)
  • Proficiency in CADCAM systems (highly desirable)
