Job Title: Finance Officer

San Clemente High School Mayfield is seeking a Permanent Part Time Finance Officer to join the team.

About the Role

The School Finance Officer is accountable for providing administrative and operational support to the Principal. The role involves administering elements of the school's finances, including purchase orders, invoicing, quotations, deliveries, activities payments, and fee payments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage billing and accounts receivable, purchasing, asset, inventory, and accounts payable
  • Prepare internal Finance reports for members of the leadership team
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Principal
  • Engage in other general financial tasks as designated by the Principal or delegate
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a finance role and demonstrated ability in accurately and proficiently performing a wide range of finance tasks
  • Excellent written communication skills and strong verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing internal Finance reports for members of the leadership team
  • Intermediate experience and ability to work with various databases, Microsoft office programs, and Excel
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and be responsible and accountable for own work
Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Finance or equivalent qualification
  • Current paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) number
  • Completion of anaphylaxis training
