Japanese-Speaking Junior Assistant-Property Management

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start their career and who speaks Japanese. The company is willing to train you from the ground up in property management. They are seeking a dedicated individual who can commit long-term and grow into a key role within the company. You will begin by assisting in the following tasks:

Position Details

  • Hybrid working environment
  • Located in Sydney CBD
  • Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities: You will support the Managing Director and Director in the following areas:

Existing Buildings:

  • Assist in preparing the annual budget
  • Support to review contracts with service companies (cleaning, security, inspections), including comparing estimates, reviewing contracts, and managing internal approvals
  • Assist in budget management
  • Liaise with government authorities
  • Handle daily tenant management tasks (inquiries, requests, and complaints)
  • Support construction management (coordination with tenants and building manager)
  • Assist in contract negotiations (renewals and new contracts)
  • Verify and follow up on rent and payments to service companies
  • Assist in managing contracts and documents related to government authorities
  • Oversee purchasing management
  • Prepare various documents
  • Manage insurance coverage
  • Prepare reports for the Japan headquarters
  • Manage environmental hygiene, waste, energy, and safety protocols

New Buildings:

  • Support progress management for new developments
  • Assist in the development process led by joint development companies
  • Participate in monthly construction and leasing meetings, liaise with government authorities, and oversee development costs, design, and planning

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of working experience in any industry
  • Japanese language speaker with English language skill
  • A candidate who is looking for a long-term role and aims to grow into a core part of the company
  • Friendly and team-oriented personality
