Japanese Speaking Financial Assistant

At HOBAN Recruitment, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Japanese Speaking Financial Assistant to join our client's finance team in Sydney.
We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
About the Job:
The successful candidate will assist in various accounting tasks and support the finance team. Key responsibilities include assisting with bookkeeping, journal entries, and reconciliation of accounts, as well as managing invoicing, processing payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
In addition, the Junior Accounting Administrator will prepare monthly financial reports, accurately input financial data into accounting software, and communicate with Japanese clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders as needed.
Requirements:
- Fluency in Japanese (both written and spoken) is essential for communication with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Previous experience in an accounting or administrative role is preferred, but recent graduates are also welcome to apply.
- Strong attention to detail, with ability to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy in all financial records.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in both Japanese and English.
