We’re looking for a Live Line Linesperson or Linesperson to permanently join our team located in Mount Isa . This is not a fly in fly out role, so if you are a local we would love to hear from you
What's on offer:
Total remuneration package between $132k - $150k + 12.75% super per annum (includes housing and non urban allowances)

The level of payment will be subject to an assessment of the applicant’s knowledge, skill and competencies required for the position.
About the role:
You will:
Construct, maintain and repair overhead, high and low voltage electrical distribution and sub-transmission systems, street lighting mains and customer service lines. Be trade qualified with a Queensland Live Line authorisation; however if you are a linesperson wanting to undertake further training and skill development to full live line capabilities, we encourage you to apply. Perform live line methodology on Energy Queensland (Ergon Energy and Energex) networks. Operate within Energy Queensland (Ergon Energy and Energex) requirements for quality, safety and risk assessment compliance.
Critical to your success is your:
Demonstrated knowledge of an electricity distribution/transmission system, including construction and maintenance of the electrical network. Working knowledge of Electricity Act & Regulations, Workplace Health & Safety Act and Regulations, and other relevant statutory acts & regulations. Well-developed interpersonal communication skills to develop good working relationships with team members and external customers. You must have the ability to identify and understand customer needs. Available for call out and emergency work. Willing to travel to surrounding areas from time to time to undertake work. Current ‘C’ class open Drives Licence.
