Matrix Education is hiring a full time Marketing Assistant to join the team at our Sydney CBD head office.

This opportunity is ideal for a recent university graduate in the disciplines of Marketing, Journalism or Communication, with a passion for digital marketing and communications and is eager to kickstart their marketing career. This role offers the potential to grow, develop and progress into a marketing specialist position.

As a Marketing Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of marketers across digital, social, design, sales and growth. You will assist in planning and executing engaging content and communications to build awareness and drive interest in Matrix, Australia’s fastest growing tuition college. 

What you’ll do…

  • Contribute to the planning and execution of marketing campaigns,
  • Develop new ideas for social content to drive communications,
  • Assist in the setup of effective email and social media marketing campaigns,
  • Track and monitor the performance of digital campaigns and strategise for optimisation,
  • Be involved in student and parent outreach initiatives for marketing content and promotions,
  • Collaborate with other teams to contribute toward new marketing campaign ideas.

What you’ll need…

  • Exceptional written communication skills, with experience in using AI tools to enhance efficiency, 
  • Experience developing, writing, and optimising digital campaigns,
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and strives for a high degree of precision,
  • A keen eye and creative flair for marketing communications,
  • Detail-orientated and strives for a high degree of precision.
  • Passion for and solid knowledge of social media platforms: you live and breathe what’s trending,
  • Minimum one year of professional work experience in customer service, sales, tutoring or administration,
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Journalism, Media or Communication.
