Rouse Hill, Australia Alstom Full time

At Alstom, we understand transport networks and what moves people. From high-speed trains, metros, monorails, and trams, to turnkey systems, services, infrastructure, signalling and digital mobility, we offer our diverse customers the broadest portfolio in the industry. Every day, 80,000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.

Your future role

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Repair Line Customer Coordinator to join our team at our Repair and Overhaul Center (ROC), based at Rouse Hill . This role would suit a qualified Engineer who thrives in a customer-facing position but still enjoys technical/operations. You will primarily be responsible for acting as a tunnel for the flow of information and demand between the ROC and the different Project sites.

We’ll look to you for:

Ensuring that the industrial master data are well implemented in the different systems (GSI, SES). Demand and Priorities from the Project are taken into account while integrating with planning for repairs. Managing the end-to-end flow of information and parts in SAP and other tools used for information management. Providing feedback to the customer on the operation of the repaired component from Train.

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The ability to create/update documents and process information from SAP. Experience using SAP. Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Industrial) preferred. Experience in repairs management with a customer interface preferred.

Things you’ll enjoy

Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also benefit from:

Flexible/hybrid working options. 18 weeks paid parental leave. Free gym membership. Purchased annual leave and a novated leasing scheme. Independent and confidential wellbeing support for you and your family. Our investment in your development, through award-winning learning. Stability, challenges and a long-term career enabling you to steer your progression in whatever direction you choose. A competitive package that recognises your performance and potential

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you
