The RBM group has successfully serviced this region for over 50 years enjoying strong relationships with many customers from both Commercial and Government sectors
The Location
RBM is based in Rockhampton Central Queensland which is located 630 km north of Brisbane. The nearby beach side communities of Yeppoon and Emu Park are a short drive by car and provide easy access to the islands of the Great Barrier Reef. The region is the gateway to the Bowen Basin coal mine strip and the Harbour City of Gladstone which has grown to be the premier heavy industrial centre in QLD.
The Role
RBM is seeking the services of 2 permanent full time Copier Technicians who's responsibilities will include -
- Reporting to the Service Manager
- Run up, Delivery and install of machines to our customers
- Complete customer training at install
- Complete repairs, service and warranty work both on-site and at our workshop on our full range of printers, copiers and MFDs
- Client contact phone support to complete remote repair resolution
- Working within a team on the installation and maintenance of scanning solutions and print management software
- Travel to remote locations within our service region
The Person
The successful applicant should possess -
- A complete background in both mono and colour printers/copiers
- Experience with either the Canon or Toshiba MFD product range
- Strong ability to diagnose and trouble-shoot problems
- Good IT skills including knowledge in Networks, Operating systems, PCs and print and scan software
- Have established skill set for the installation, training and maintenance of industry cloud and on-premise software applications including Uniflow and Papercut.
- It is also a requirement for you to hold a current restricted electrical licence
- Provide a high level customer service and clear communication skills
- Neat personal presentation and be well organised
- Current manual drivers licence
- Show honesty and always be reliable and enthusiastic
- Given a high percentage of our work is within certain Government sectors you will need to be vaccinated for COVID-19 and also in receipt of an annual Flu shot (RBM supplied)
