About the Opportunity

Securecorp currently has an outstanding opportunity for a Full-Time Security Control Room Operator working within our highly regarded pharmaceutical location.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Monitoring Security systems, such as CCTV Cameras, Access control systems, and alarms to identify and respond to security incidents.
  • Communicate and liaise with emergency services and associated internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintaining and writing accurate security incident reports, data logs, emergency response activities and visitor logs.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Minimum 2 years Control Room Experience.
  • Strong administrative skills, computer competency and excellent email etiquette.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a fast-paced team environment and experience with Fire-Panels – Desirable
  • Valid Driver’s licence with Transport
  • Knowledge across any of the following applications: Gallagher, Avigilon, Genetec, Ascom, and Passagepoint - Highly regarded

Key Certifications

  • Must have current Security Licence with Control Room Certification endorsement
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification
  • ASIC clearance – Desirable

Rostered Hours

12 Hour Rotating Shifts Day and Night – Please see attached Rosters

Role 1:

0630-1830 and, 1830-0630 averaging 84 hours per pay fortnight.
* Weeks 1&3 Wednesday/ Thursday/ Friday
* Weeks 2&4 Monday, Tuesday, Saturday/ Sunday

Role 2:

0630-1830 and, 1830-0630 averaging 84 hours per pay fortnight.
* Weeks 1&2 Monday, Tuesday, Saturday/ Sunday
* Weeks 2&4 Wednesday/ Thursday/ Friday

Role 3:

0630-1830 and, 1830-0630 averaging 84 hours per pay fortnight.
* Weeks 1&2 Wednesday/ Thursday/ Friday
* Weeks 2&4 Monday, Tuesday, Saturday/ Sunday

Role 4:

0630-1830 and, 1830-0630 averaging 84 hours per pay fortnight.
* Weeks 1&2 Wednesday/ Thursday/ Friday
* Weeks 2&4 Monday, Tuesday, Saturday/ Sunday
